SIC Mulher renews Prime’s Fitness First Class

French international producer and distributer Prime Entertainment Group has seen the renewal of a significant package of episodes from its best seller fitness series Fitness First Class with Portuguese network Sociedade Independente de Comunicação (SIC).

The 120 x 30’ series presents intense training sessions, with each episode being shot in locations such as Camps Bay in South Africa, the Riviera in Croatia and the island of Ibiza in Spain. As part of a renewal of up to 20 hours’ worth of programming from Prime’s health and fitness catalogue, Fitness First Class will run on the SIC Mulher channel. Created in 2003, the Portuguese themed cable and satellite television channel targets a female audience focusing on beauty, fashion, fitness, decoration and cuisine content.

Prime has been increasing its presence on the Portuguese market with programmes airing on several channels in the country including RTP, DSTV Pipoca and Canal Hollywood.

Prime and SIC’s partnership goes back to 2015, with a number of Prime’s celebrity series running on the channel including Ultimate Countdown (28 x 45'), Hollywood's Singing and Dancing (13 x 52’) and a number of biographical portrait including The True Story of Angelina Jolie (1 x 52’), The Secret Album of Clint Eastwood (1 x 70'), The True Story of Madonna (1 x 52') and Zara, the World's Richest Man (1 x 52’) among others.
